The Award was collected by XIX Global Head of Communication Julian Henry, who thanked creator Julie Andem, XIX founder Simon Fuller and Facebook\u2019s Ricky Van Veen in his acceptance speech. SKAM AUSTIN was shortlisted for the Award after a critically acclaimed first season that ran through the early summer, watched by a peak of 14 million views per episode.<\/p>\n<p>SKAM AUSTIN was created by Julie Andem, is produced by XIX Entertainment for Facebook Watch and tells the realistic and authentic stories from the lives of American teenagers.\u00a0The series offers an unfiltered look at what teens are dealing with head on, with stories and relationships that unfold across multiple social media platforms.
