London, UK, 21st February 2011. Today iconic European fashion designer Roland Mouret will open his first flagship store and design HQ in the heart of London’s prestigious Mayfair at 8 Carlos Place, W1.
The opening of a flagship store in central London in 2011 has been much anticipated by long-standing customers of the designer. The six storey building in Carlos Place, opposite the Connaught Hotel, includes two floors of retail, housing the brand’s complete Womenswear and Menswear collections, Mouret’s atelier, design workshops, studios and a sales showroom.
The store will also showcase a product range that will only be available under its roof.
“Roland Mouret at 8 Carlos Place” is a new concept devoted to the development of unique products available exclusively at the flagship store. From the perfect pair of aviator sunglasses hand-made in Italy to British hand-made shoes for the menswear collection, the collection will also include limited edition cashmere men’s sweaters and iconic dresses from the house’s archive. For launch these dresses include re-issues of the Galaxy, the Moon and Pigalle dresses in their original colours and fabrics.
“I am very excited about opening our first Roland Mouret flagship store and working above the shop.” says the designer. “We wanted to offer our retail clients something unique and special in the store – our new home – and I hope we have created the environment in which to do that.”
The Roland Mouret Collection is a partnership between Roland Mouret and Simon Fuller.
