Global pop group NOW UNITED and their devoted UNITERS won the Fans of The Year Award (“Fandom do Ano”) at the prestigious NICKELODEON KIDS’ CHOICE AWARDS (“Meus Prêmios Nick Brazil Award”) last night in São Paulo, Brazil.
Now United has an impressive fanbase of 20M+ followers from around the world known as #UNITERS, who beat out three other fan groups #BTSARMY (fans of BTS), #Anitters (fans of Anitta), and #Luaneters (fans of Luan Santana) in front of a packed house of thousands of young fans.
The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards (“Meus Prêmios Nick Brazil Award”) is one of the most popular music events in South America, and this win represents a major breakthrough for the band. Now United, the world’s first true global pop group, has been touring South America as part of their sold out NOW UNITED DREAMS COME TRUE tour.
The group is comprised of 14 singers and dancers from 14 countries: Any (Brazil), Bailey (Philippines), Diarra (Senegal), Heyoon (South Korea), Hina (Japan), Joalin (Finland), Josh (Canada), Krystian (China), Lamar (UK), Noah (USA), Sabina (Mexico), Sina (Germany), Shivani (India), and Sofya (Russia).
Member Noah Urrea called out to the crowd of chanting Uniters: “Thank you! Thank you so much for being so kind to us! We love, love, love Brazil!”
