Since launching his namesake label back in 2005 the Roland Mouret brand continues its further expansion with the launch of his anticipated Bridal collection at 8 Carlos Place.

After being approached to design a close friend’s wedding dress, Mouret aspired to creating a small intimate bridal collection, a kind of ‘love’ collection for that special moment. The Bridal collection was an organic transition from Mouret’s already established signature style…

“I want my bridal dresses to be a bit more sexy. I wanted to create something that is about you and your partner, a one-to-one private relationship with the dress not just something to please the family” Roland Mouret

The Roland Mouret Bridal collection consists of  styles. Offering both gowns and cocktail length the dresses are available in a range of light blues and different fabrics.

The bridal collection will be available on Net-a-Porter from November.

Breton – £3,800 Silk Matelassé Gown

Compeyson – £1,495.00 Jersey Gown accompanied by a nude powermesh

Hexam – £4,500.00 Floral Lace & Stretch Double Crepe Gown

Jansen – £2,100.00 Stretch Double Crepe Gown

Maestro – £1,600.00 Double Wool Crepe Dress

The Roland Mouret fashion brand is a joint venture between Roland Mouret and Simon Fuller’s XIX entertainment.  Formed in August 2006 as “RM by the designer Roland Mouret” it followed Mouret’s 8 years of critical acclaim within the global fashion industry. In September 2010 rights to the ‘Roland Mouret” name were acquired by the venture and in March 2011 the first Roland Mouret store was opened at 8 Carlos Place, Mayfair, London, in the form of a “maison” with atelier and HQ on the premises.

Mouret has become recognized for the use of draping and the fitted silhouette, including the iconic dresses Galaxy, Moon, Titanium and Pigalle.  2012  sees the launch of the Roland Mouret shoe and bridal collections as well as the expansion of it’s successful sunglasses line.  Further global expansion is planned for 2013, after three consecutive years of strong double digit growth.
