(11th February 2013) Sunday was a huge night for Carrie as she not only delivered an amazing performance on The 55th Annual GRAMMY® Awards, but also won the sixth GRAMMY of her career.
Carrie took home the Best Country Solo Performance honor for “Blown Away” – and making the night all the more special for her was seeing her friends, songwriters Josh Kear and Chris Tompkins, win Best Country Song for writing “Blown Away”!
Carrie and Josh and Chris have been good luck for each other in the past, as well: at the 2007 GRAMMYs, Josh and Chris won Best Country Song for Carrie’s “Before He Cheats” on the same night that Carrie won Best Female Country Vocal Performance, also for “Before He Cheats”!
